Kelly Willemse - producer/fixer the Netherlands

I was born in Beverwijk in 1982 and moved to Amsterdam in the year 2000. In 2001 I started Media Studies at the University of Amsterdam and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in 2005. It was during my studies that I got my first production experience, both in film (DE VERBEELDING VAN AMERIKA IN DE DOCUMENTAIRE - aka THE REPRESENTATION OF AMERICA IN DOCUMENTARIES) and events (De Dag van het TV Idee - aka The Day of the Television Idea). I absolutely loved being part of a group of creative people and I found I had a special talent to produce anything and everything I set my mind on.

In the years after my studies I worked very hard to produce as many films and festivals as possible; mostly in addition to my fulltime day job. Nowadays I work as a freelancer, doing what I do (and like) best: produce films and festivals!
